This is the exact part I needed for the rear hatch to work.
It locks and unlocks correctly and opens and closes properly as well

Fixed an issue with the rear trunk not opening. Common problem for this model.

Part was a direct replacement for the Toyota factory part. Install is relatively easy and takes about 30 minutes. If your rear door is not opening or closing automatically, this will likely fix it.

Great fit for 4Runner

I have a 4 runner 2004 and back door had been stuck for a year. I hesitated to get this part but glad I did, my husband was able to install it himself. It works great, just make sure you unplug the battery to reset the system! Delivered as promised as well
